UPPER DECK MARVEL – Artist Sketch Cards

I worked on these series 2020 MARVEL ANIME during the pandemic quarantine happened since March 2020. I received the blank sketch cards together with MARVEL Annual 2020.

I only wanted to work with a few cards and only limited to have 3 Artist prooof

About 2020 MARVEL ANIME Edition

It is a card series by UpperDerck Marvel for the year 2020. This is the time that Marvel opens in the Japanese Anime Artstyle.

Anime is defined as its cuteness and drawn in a more cartoon that kids love.

Work In Progress

During the 2020 pandemic, I made this project. This series has come later than the Marvel Annual where I get I bit burned out from drawing and not that fond of the Anime, it’s actually a new challenge. It is something different Art from Avengers Endgame and Marvel Premier series or any previous art style I made in Marvel comic art.

Art Style

Before I got into Marvel I was experienced in Anime drawing ways years ago so I had an idea how to make this. I went in the direction of the causal Anime drawing of sparkling eyes, cute face, and cartoony proportions.

I LOVE ANIME

In Art, my first love is Marvel and DC comic characters. In my teens, I got into watching Anime cartoons. Currently, my favorite anime is DRAGONBALL SUPER, FOOD WARS, MY HERO ACADEMIA and ONE-PUNCH MAN.
